Gold Cowrie Shell Necklace

This is a solid gold cowrie shell pendant found by us on Bantham beach, in Devon. We found a few perfect tiny shells which we have decided to have cast. This lovely shell would be perfect for any beach lovers gift.

We hunted for ages on the beach looking for the perfect tiny shell for people to wear as a lovely necklace.

The shell measures about 10mm in length and has a lovely solid weight, being made of completely solid gold it has a lovely heft. 


Available in any gold alloy from 9ct-18ct.

50% of the profit from this necklace goes to Surfers Against Sewage and The Wave Project.

About the Wave Project - My youngest son Solly went through the Wave project programme in 2022 and is now returning as a volunteer. The project helps kids with learning difficulties such as Downs or neurodivergency such as ADHD which Solly has, and helps them learn to surf with one-to-one teaching in a group environment. For Solly who struggles in normal group learning it was an absolutely life-affirming experience and has given him confidence and self-belief as well as some mad surfing skills! I love the fact that he now wants to volunteer and give back as a helper for smaller kids and the project has been great at guiding him through this.
