Here at The Remarkable Goldsmiths we know how difficult the search for just the right wedding ring can be.  The high street shops offer repeat versions of the same design and finding something that reflects how special your love for each other is is very difficult.  On top of that they push you towards metals they really want to sell, and easy sales, they don’t size you properly and it can all become a horrible disaster that takes the joy out of ring shopping.  I will sit down with you and find out all about you before we even think...

Fused two colour gold crevasse wedding rings.

Sudha and Marcel travelled from the Netherlands to see me after finding my work. They wanted to commission a pair o f really unusual rings and I designed these fused grey gold and peach gold rings with a crevasse running through each ring.  Sudha's ring has tiny lavender and teal sapphires in it. 

Wedding rings with waves and the stars detail

These rings for Melissa and Sam feature two colour fused gold and Japanese engraving with my signature theme of the waves and the stars which I somehow always return to.  Melissa's ring fits around a vintage engagement ring she had and also has a crevasse with diamonds in it.

Rings for Aram and Olly in my hand-blended alloys of 19 carat Etruscan yellow and peach gold,  The texture was very abstract in the pair of rings, suggestive of a particular landscape, and they feel rustic but delicate and somehow perfect.  I had a very tight turnaround on these rings because of a sudden need, in very special circumstances so I happily rose to the challenge.

Mike and Becky | Weddings | Bespoke

Mike commissioned me to make an engagement ring for Becky which featured an absolutely stunning large Australian dark teal sapphire surrounded by detail sapphires and gold beads.  The whole ring was made in 18 carat gold.  It was a complete surprise for Becky and I loved how brave he was with really going for a string and bold design.  She of course absolutely loved the ring! We then made a wedding set for them both with a ring that fitted around Becky’s for her and then for Mike we made a solid gold band with a pattern engraved that reflected...

Sarah and Debbie | Weddings | Bespoke

Sarah and Debbie originally wanted silver matching textured silk effect rings like the pair they had seen in the shop, but when they saw my 18 carat grey gold alloy they fell in love with it and decided to go for it.  I’m so glad they did as their rings look wonderful, really elegant and beautiful, and grey gold is really hard wearing so perfect for a marriage. I love these rings so much, they show that sometimes simplicity is everything.

James and Caitlin wanted not-wedding rings; a pair of matching rings with feather detail because feathers are significant to them both.  Caitlin designed the rings with me and gifted them to James for his birthday.  We made them in lovely rose and grey gold. We love these not-wedding rings!
