Waves wedding set for Rose

I made this wedding and engagement ring set for Rose as a sort of upgrade re-imagine!  Rose had lots of beautiful stones and gold, and a lovely big diamond for the engagement ring so we designed a set that curved and twisted around her finger.  They have beautiful gentle wave-like delicate textures and feel very Devonian.  I love the colour of the gold too. We finished the rings and with there remainder of the gold we are going to make a stunning bangle, next on my list and then some earrings.    

The Thames Ring - a mudlarking ring

Sometimes a really interesting Commission comes up and this was one of them. This ring is made with Sue’s own gold and some very special Mudlark Garnets. Bangle for Charlene

A young woman called Charlene came to see me with a bag full of her late mum’s old gold jewellery and she wanted help making it into something she could treasure and wear.  I invited her into the studio to watch me melt all the gold down and then we turned it into a stunning bangle.  We carefully kept some of the settings from the rings in tact as we removed them and then soldered them onto the bangle whole because Charlene remembered the shape of them from her childhood. Hannah | Remodelling | Bespoke

Hannah asked me to remodel her brooch pin featuring a beautiful aquamarine which she had owned since she was a child. She wanted it to fit with her wedding ring, which she made with me on a ‘make your own wedding ring’ day. I think we did a beautiful job. I really love the simplicity of this piece and it just shows that remodelling doesn’t have to be hugely complicated.
