Large Tudor Locking Heart necklace in 18ct Yellow Gold with handmade chain and sapphires

Inspired by the court of Queen Elizabeth I, and part of my Troubadour Collection, the Large Tudor Locking Heart necklace is the statement version of my smaller, signature Tudor Locking Heart necklace. With a handmade chain encrusted with sapphires, every element is made by hand in our Dartmouth Atelier, and this is a piece that really stands out in the most beautiful way. 

Based on the progress of Queen Elizabeth I in the summers of the 1700’s when she travelled around the country with a procession of musicians and magicians, jesters and dancers, her entourage was huge and she visited many great houses with her entire court. It must have been an amazing sight to see!

The large Tudor locking love heart pendant is a solid gold decorated pendant with the stones of your choice which fixes at the front using a toggle which then locks into place - locking in your love! The heart is decorated using Japanese Kinko punches and so every single one is unique.

It has a little twist and a wiggle to unlock and is very secure.

The chains are also handmade in our Atelier with 18 inches as standard but, because they are to order, I can make them any length that you like. The chain has five double sided stone settings with sapphires front and back, all hand engraved with two additional stones at each end of the toggle.
