Solid Gold Cherry Blossom Pendant - Sakura Pendant
This little gold pendant is Sakura (cherry blossoms) and the flowers have been cast from original fittings on an antique lacquer cabinet. My partner Ford Hallam does, amongst other things, antique metal restoration. He was asked to repair an imperial commission cabinet from the Meji period in Japan and I thought the fittings were absolutely beautiful. Now I have turned my version of them into a delicate pendant in lovely 9 carat yellow gold.
It is really beautiful, robust and classy, very much a piece that you can keep forever and wear all the time. I have the rose gold blossom colour but it is every bit as lovely in the other metals. Really beautiful botanical necklace.
It is also available in rose gold, white gold and if you want to you can have tiny little detail diamonds set into the middle.
I wear mine every day and I love it with the tiny diamond detail for sparkle.
