Sakura ring for Naomi | Gifts | Bespoke

Naomi saw my Sakura ring in the studio in Cockington and we got chatting about a sapphire version, we picked out some stones for her from my collection but then lockdown (the first one) reared its horrible head and everything went on hold for a bit. I put the stones away in the safe until we could think again about the ring. 

Then Naomi’s husband contacted me to arrange for me to go ahead and make the ring as a surprise for her birthday!  So lovely! 

It’s 18 carat yellow reticulated gold with Australia sapphires and one diamond from Naomi’s original engagement ring.  It’s a stunner for sure and it only just got hallmarked - the assay office closed over lockdown so we were allowed to sell work unmarked on the proviso that it went straight in as soon as reasonably possible, so I contacted Naomi to send the ring in for her but she didn’t want to be without it! 

Eventually I persuaded her and now it has its proper mark inside.
